Being the youngest of four, Yoland was an odd child with somehow a strong interest in art as he drew pictures on pages of his notebook. Growing up with a mother who loved to dress up and a sister who had an obsession with pop culture, his attention to the world of drawing/illustration became more detailed. he liked to observe them mix and match things like clothes, shoes and accessories.

During his college years, Yoland started to put more attention on art. He spent his spare time learning about the history of art and later on his curiosity to fashion grew.
